There are 3 ways to add newsletter subscription to your Wordpress website. They are
Start by choosing an email marketing service. Some popular choices include Mailchimp, Constant Contact. We will be using Mailchimp for this guide.
Step 1: Sign up for a free trial.
Step 2: Choose the "Embedded Form" option.
Step 3: Click the "Form Fields" drop down and select "First Name" and "Last Name".

Step 6: Paste the code in your Wordpress page or widget area using the HTML block.
For this method, we will be using Mailchimp for Wordpress plugin.
Step 1: Sign up for Mailchimp free trial.
Step 2: Log in to your Wordpress admin panel.
Step 3: In the left side bar, click "Plugins" and choose "Add New".
Step 4: Search Mailchimp List Subscription Form and click "Install Now", followed by "Activate Plugin".
Step 5: Go back to your Mailchimp Account and click "Account and Billing".
Step 6: Click "Extras" and choose "API Keys".
Step 7: Scroll down and click "Create A Key". Followed by "Generate Key".
Step 8: Go back to Wordpress and locate "Mailchimp Settings" under the "Plugins Page".
Step 9: Paste your API key into the field and click "Connect".
Step 10: Click the "Select A List" drop-down menu, and choose which Mailchimp list to connect to. Followed by "Update List"
Step 11: After customzing your list, , navigate to "Appearance" and click "Widgets".
Step 12: Drag the Mailchimp Widget into one of your widget areas, like your sidebar or footer, and click Save.
Step 13: You're all set!
If you prefer a simpler solution without an external service or plugin, you can use WordPress's built-in features.
Step 1: Create a New Page or Post where you want the subscription form.
Step 2: Use the WordPress block editor or classic editor to add a text block.
Step 3: Include a simple "mailto" link in the text block, directing users to email you for subscription.
